Holidaymakers have complained on TripAdvisor of suffering holiday illness during July, 2011 while staying at the Hotel Globus in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.

Guests suffered symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps, thought to be linked to poor standards of food and hygiene.Promoted by Balkan Holidays, the Hotel Globus is a 4-star resort with bed and breakfast and half board options. Hotel facilities include 2 buffet restaurants and 1 a la carte option. Holidaymakers have complained of poor food and hygiene, and also reported cold food being added to hot dishes, causing cross contamination.
