Holiday sickness at Blue Bay Cayo Coco Hotel Cuba
Holidaymakers who have stayed at the Blue Bay Cayo Coco Hotel in Cuba during July 2011 have complained of holiday illness at the hotel.
Reports of gastroenteritis have been posted on internet review site, Trip Advisor.
The Blue Bay Cayo Coco Hotel is promoted by Thomas Cook among others and is a 3-star all inclusive hotel. Dining facilities include a main buffet restaurant and 3 a la carte restaurants.
Guests have complained that food was kept at a tepid temperature and one guest found a dead fly in his food. Dishes were left exposed to fly contamination and were a breeding ground for bacteria.
