Review site TripAdvisor has published reports that holidaymakers have suffered food poisoning at the Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium Hotel in the Dominican Republic during July, 2011.
The hotel is promoted by Thomson Holidays among others. The Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium is an all inclusive 5 star hotel with a beach front location.One of the guests needed hospital treatment after suffering food poisoning, and other holidaymakers complained of poor food and hygiene standards. Food was said to be unrefrigerated and transported around the hotel in wheelie bins. Food was also said to be exposed to flies causing symptoms of food poisoning.
