"If you have become ill in a hotel in Egypt you can claim a significant amount of compensation"
Holiday Illness at Hotel Tropicana Grand Azure Sharm El Sheikh
Amount Received:£6,000
Miss Emma Thorn of London travelled to Egypt in March 2010. She stayed on an all-inclusive basis at the Hotel Tropicana Grand Azure, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Sadly during the course of the holiday she became ill with a serious gastrointestinal infection and her symptoms remained ongoing for some time upon her return to the UK. Miss Thorn approached Farnworth Rose to assist her with her claim for compensation. After negotiations with the tour operator, First Choice, part of the TUI Group of Companies, we obtained £6,000 compensation for Miss Thorn.
Miss Thorn said: “I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Farnworth Rose. Anne Thomson assisted me throughout the claim. She is very professional, helpful and easy to talk to – I just can’t praise her enough. She kept me updated all the way through the process with what was happening, what would be happening next and explained all the law terms I didn’t understand. I really feel that she did absolutely everything in her power to get me the very best in terms of compensation. She is doing an amazing job!”
