"Sickness and diarrhoea has been caused by holiday food poisoning at Sharm El Sheikh hotel Egypt"
Food poisoning at Sol y Mar Sharming Inn Sharm-el-Sheikh Egypt
APRIL 2010
We have received reports of holiday illness at the Sol y Mar Sharming Inn, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, during April, 2010.
Food was reported to have been of a very poor standard, and some guests at the hotel were taken ill after just 24 hours at the resort. One couple suffered symptoms of diarrhoea, sickness, stomach cramps and fever three days into their holiday, which resulted in them being confined to their room for two days to halt the spread of the illness.
Another guest complained: "Don´t visit this resort unless you want to spend your holiday on the toilet. I was so ill I had to call the doctor out who confirmed I had food poisoning, which came from the food in the hotel."
