Holiday illness reports at Amwaj Blue Beach Resort & Spa Egypt

Farnworth Rose Solicitors have been instructed by holidaymakers who suffered symptoms of severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea at the Amwaj Blue Beach Resort and Spa in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, during February, 2011.

Reports of sickness at the Amwaj Beach Resort and Spa is thought to be linked to poor standards of food and hygiene, and the food was described by some holidaymakers and being undercooked and lukewarm when served.
Reports on TripAdvisor from holidaymakers who have stayed at the hotel included complaints of food being served cold, poor standards of maintenance and open sewers throughout the complex. Recent reports follow a similar outbreak of illness at the resort in November, 2010 when at least one holidaymaker was diagnosed with Salmonella food poisoning.
