We are reading reports on TripAdvisor suggesting that holidaymakers staying at the Great Parnassus in Cancun, Mexico, during the month of October 2011 have suffered a holiday illness suspected to be food poisoning.

This hotel is promoted by Thomas Cook Holidays amongst others. The Great Parnassus is an all inclusive 4 star hotel and is located directly on the beach at the Southern edge of the Cancun hotel zone. The hotel includes a food court that has 12 different stations of different cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and a la carte restaurants, including seafood, Japanese specialities and gourmet cuisine.
