We have received several complaints of food poisoning at the Hotel Barcelo in Fuerteventura during March, 2010.
Many holidaymakers are reported to have been struck down with severe Gastroenteritis during a week´s holiday at the Barcelo hotel, following a previous outbreak of illness in January, 2010.
Hotel guests became ill with symptoms of severe diarrhoea and violent vomiting. Other holidaymakers reported strong smells of sewage. One couple were ill for five days out of seven of their holiday, and their symptoms included: stomach cramps, diarrhoea and sickness.
