Salmonella at Tamaimo Tropical Hotel Tenerife
We have recently been contacted by holidaymakers who have suffered holiday illness at the Tamaimo Tropical Hotel in Tenerife.
Food poisoning appears to be the most likely cause of illness with symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach cramps and headaches.
Holidaymakers have complained of food being left out and open to insect contamination and cockroaches have been seen in the restaurant. The same food was also reported to have been served three days running which is likely to cause food poisoning. Other holidaymakers have complained of poor standards of hygiene which is thought to have caused the symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea.
