E Coli reported at Holiday Village Manar Tunisia

After receiving previous reports of illness at The Holiday Village in Manar, Tunisia, during July, 2011, we have more recently read reports from guests who contracted E.Coli at the resort in August, 2011.
Symptoms included diarrhoea, severe stomach cramps and nausea, according to internet review site, TripAdvisor, and illness was thought to be linked to poor standards of food and hygiene.
The Holiday Village Manar is a 5-star resort, promoted by First Choice. Guests have complained of poorly cooked food and animal and bird droppings in the restaurant. Food is left out in the open and served lukewarm.
