Reports posted on internet review site, TripAdvisor, have complained of holiday illness at the Holiday Village Manar in Hammamet, Tunisia during August, 2011.
Hotel guests are reported to have become ill with symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps at the hotel, thought to be linked to poor standards of food and hygiene.
The Holiday Village Manar is promoted by First Choice Holidays, and is an all inclusive 5-star hotel with a beach front location. Hotel facilities include a main buffet style restaurant and an Asian a la carte restaurant.
Holidaymakers returning from the Holiday Village Manar complained of poor hygiene throughout the hotel and of food being left out in the open and exposed to fly and insect contamination.
