One couple became ill with symptoms of stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting just 24 hours after arriving at the hotel, and their illness was thought to be linked to poor standards of food.The couple were treated in hospital via an intravenous drip, and food poisoning was diagnosed.
The Etap Altinel Hotel is an all inclusive resort. A local doctor confirmed the couple´s illness as being caused by food poisoning. According to reports, water bottles were filled from local source tap water, and it was claimed that over three quarters of the people staying here were suffering symptoms of food poisoning.
