More reports of illness at Garden of Sun Hotel Altinkum Turkey

We have received more reports of illness at the Garden of Sun Hotel, Altinkum, Turkey, in July, 2011, following previous complaints in June.

One group of holidaymakers described their trip as a ´holiday from hell´ and eight out of nine of their group were ill with severe stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Other members of the group were violently sick, and six people had to be treated in hospital via an intravenous drip.
One holidaymaker who contacted us after becoming ill at the Garden of Sun Hotel, Altinkum, said: “over 100 holidaymakers were ill with the same symptoms of stomach cramps and diarrhoea.”
Another holidaymaker who became ill at the Garden of Sun Hotel, said: “We recently returned from the Garden of Sun Hotel in Turkey after spending most of our 10 days holiday in our room with stomach cramps and diarrhoea. The standards of hygiene were very poor.”
